There are many standards and legislation that govern the plumbing industry, however we define the most important related to plumbers in order of importance

  • SANS 10400 XA- Energy usage in buildings
  • SANS 10252-1: 12- Part 1 water supply installations for buildings
  • SANS 10252- 2: 1993- Part 2 drainage installations for buildings
  • SANS 10254: 2012- The installation, maintenance, replacement and repair of electrical geysers
  • SANS 10106: 2006- The installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of domestic solar geysers
  • SANS 1352: 2012- The installation, maintenance, replacement and repair of domestic heat pump systems
